I missed a day — can I get my streak back?
Streaks reset when you skip a day. There's no way to restore one, intentionally — the streak only means something because it can break. The new puzzle is waiting tomorrow; the palette and your history don't go anywhere.
My score looks wrong
Scoring uses perceptual color distance (CIE Lab ΔE), not RGB or HSL difference. Two colors that look "close" on the wheel can still have a high ΔE if they fall in a region your eye is sensitive to. The number is what your eye sees, not what the numbers say. If you really think the calculation is off for a specific puzzle, email us with the date and the result screen — we'll check.
I'm not getting daily reminder notifications
On iOS: open Settings → Notifications → Hueful and confirm Allow Notifications is on. Inside Hueful, go to Settings and confirm a reminder time is set. If both look right and you're still not getting them, try toggling the Hueful notification permission off and back on — iOS occasionally needs that nudge after an OS update.
How do I cancel Hueful Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Hueful → Cancel Subscription. You keep Plus access through the end of the current billing period.
The app crashes or won't open
First try: force-quit (swipe up from the bottom and flick Hueful away) and reopen. If that doesn't work: delete the app and reinstall from the App Store. Heads-up — until iCloud sync ships, reinstalling wipes your local streak and palette. Email us before you reinstall and we'll see if there's a way to recover.
Can I play on iPad, Mac, or Android?
iPhone only at launch. iPad and Mac (Catalyst) are on the roadmap. Android isn't planned for now — the app uses iOS-specific features (Apple's Speech framework on Sukima, ATT framework here) that don't translate cleanly.
I have a feature idea or found a bug
Email it. We genuinely read these and the next version is shaped by them. Include the iOS version, the device (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro), and a screenshot if relevant — saves us a back-and-forth.
Privacy & data
How data is handled: /privacy. To remove the app's local data, delete the app — iOS clears the sandbox along with it. There's no server-side account to delete because there isn't one.
Refunds
Refunds for Hueful Plus go through Apple, not us — they own the billing relationship. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Hueful purchase, and submit the request. We don't see refund decisions and can't override them.
